The Scientia is located within the University of NSW and is used for prestigious events including the Alumni Awards, the Foundation Dinner, Honorary Doctorate presentations and lectures by international guest speakers. It enables the University to offer business, alumni and the general public a venue for events, conferences and reunions.
The Scientia building is a major work of ceremonial architecture winning both The Sulman Award for Public Buildings and The Master Builders Australia National New Commercial Building Award in 2000.
